Looking for QAF/Supernatural Crossover

I read a QAF/Supernatural crossover quite a while ago and I’d like to read it again. I’ve checked tags, but didn’t recognize it there.

 

Here’s a bit of what I remember.

 

-Serious angst. Serious. Really.

-Gus is murdered. Viciously. Horribly.  And left at Brian’s door.

   (not a total spoiler, as this happens very early on)

-Justin goes into a mysterious coma for a very long time (years?)

-Brian becomes a hunter

-Ends in Major character death (that left me sobbing)

 

 

I know.  It’s a tough read, but really well done. Haunting. Memorable (except, clearly, for the title and author’s name…  Senility sucks!) I would so love to find this story. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Ah hah! That’s it !!!

I should have remembered that this was yours. I didn’t remember all of the details (more than I listed – didn’t want to spoil for those that haven’t read it yet), but the one thing I did remember was how powerful the writing was. As I said before… haunting. I don’t often read AU pieces, but this one – wow!

You write something like “The Adventures of Sunshine and Sweetums” and then write something like this… Your mind works in strange and mysterious ways! ;>
