I really hope she's okay but I honestly can't help feeling a little frustrated when it seems like authors just, abandon their fics and their journals without any explanation. She is one of the last few writers in this fandom who writes in character and coherently and if she's gone for good, I'll certainly miss the wonderful stories...

I dun think there's any use in racking our brains.

If she deactivated it due to job-thingies again, she'll be back. If not - she's not interested in LJ and/or writing fic anymore, and if that's the case, I'm sure that no one could convince her otherwise.

I really don't understand this, as chance_medley asked herself is this a new job related thing, and if it is, let me just say this, people change their jobs all the time, and being a part of LJ community has nothing to do with your job. At least, I see it that way. I don't use LJ at work only at home. Then I have time to dedicate my self in reading and posting comments and requests for stories and answer posts like this. So, if she is not coming back, at least she can upload her stories on Lost Fics Here, for people to still enjoy her stuff. Metka

I can't find any info from the last time she deleted her account, I was wondering who had contacted her and found out it was temporary.

Damn, I wish I had saved her fics.

She came back online a few days later and said herself that she deleted her account because she was applying for a new job and didn't want them to come across her LJ account if they did a search for her on the web. I would wait til after the weekend and see if she comes back. If she doesn't show back up by Monday or Tuesday, then maybe seek out people who might have saved her fics.
