Mod Post: Whole Lotta Tagging Goin' On

Just wanted to update you guys on a small housekeeping change vlredreign and I are making. We're now focusing solely on Tagging the requests with as many detailed Tags as we can, and we are not adding to the Memories section anymore.

We are limited to only five categories when putting a fic in the Memories, and editing within the Memories is nearly impossible. Don't ignore the Memories when searching, though, because they were used more in the past than the Tags were. This change is just going forward.

Unlike the constraints with the Memories, there doesn't appear to be a limit to the number of Tags that can be added to a request and editing is easy to do. Obviously, that makes the Tags the more flexible and user-friendly option for organizing and categorizing requests as completely as possible which will, we hope! make your searches easier and faster. We're at around 1000 Tags and counting now. At some point, we hope to have every request ever made in the community tagged in detail.
