A true friend for Brian

I'm a little tired of how no one seems to ever stand up for Brian or be a real friend when his so called family blame him for all of their problems.

I'm looking for a fic that has Brian standing up for himself or a new character that becomes friends with Brian, a true friend. It can be either man or woman it does not matter. Brian always thinks he doesn't need anyone to stand up for him but he does need someone to be by his side and support him without judgment.

Even Justin frustrates me sometimes. He's always saying he loves Brian but lets everyone verbally abuse him and never does a thing about it.

Thanks in advance for any stories. Hope that someone besides me has thought of this.

You need to change your subject line. "Looking for a fic" doesn't help us when we're tagging entries. Make it pertinent to your search.

It amazes me when people come to this conclusion. Makes me wonder which show they were watching. Debbie blamed Brian for leading Michael on (he did, for years), Mel blamed Brian for whatever was wrong in her life (Brian told her to fuck off, many times), Jennifer blamed Brian in a roundabout way for Justin's bashing (Justin got mad, pushed her, trashed his room and moved out), Debbie blamed Brian for Stockwell (he bought it on himself)...see a trend? And Justin wasn't always present when these things happened. Besides, last I checked, Brian was a grown man, capable of standing up for himself.

I tend to think of these things as fanon, as opposed to canon.

I felt the same way and couldn't find any fics of someone supporting Brian, so I wrote one. : ) In it Brian finds out he has a sister he never knew about. She doesn't let anyone bad mouth him.

I appreciate everyone's opinion and I don't feel threaten by any ones comment.

I always love to hear how other people feel about the show and i know not everyone interprets it the same way. This was my first post in the community and I had no idea how to word it.
To a point I do feel that Justin defends Brian but towards the end of the series I feel that he let everyone else get in the way of how he felt about Brian.
