Fic: Justin a dancer in NY?

Sorry if this was posted before, but I tried to check the tags and did not see what I was looking for.

I was re-watching episode 110 where Justin runs away to New York. I happened to recall a fic I somehow stumbled across in which Brian never did go after Justin, causing the boy to become a performer in a club. Years later, Brian comes to said club and they both recognize each other immediately, however, Justin continually tells himself there's no way Brian would remember him. (They meet in his dressing room when it all comes out that Brian remembers?)

Edit: Actually, I found it when I went to way_to_the_end's journal. It's The Mess We're In, which sadly is only chapter long, so no wonder why I was wondering what ever happened to the rest of that scenario.

However, I think it doesn't fit all your description because I think that only Brian recognizes him and not even immediately but after he finds out his name. Well, it's worth reading anyway.

I actually went to way_to_the_end's journal for something else, and discovered The Mess We're In, which is the fic I was looking for. Sadly, it's only one chapter, but thanks for the link! I'm just about to start reading it.

I would, but where exactly do I find it on your journal? (I have you friended by the way and it didn't pop up on my normal f-list.) When I went to the entry you made with a master list, it brought me to memories and while there is a chapter two, when you click on it, it leads you to one of those 'pages not found' that LJ has made.
