I've heard that a few times around here, about this author not wanting her fics shared, but really, if the author hasn't said anything herself, how does anyone know? Maybe someone just assumed when the fics got taken down or whatever, and then it spread. It's been known to happen. This is the interwebs...

Unless she actually did ask or mention to someone specifically that she didn't want her fics shared. Does she have an LJ or a way to be contacted? I'll do it, for the sanity of the mods and comm.

I understand your point, and agree with it to a degree. But what I want and what rules I have to abide by are two different things.
