Fics with Leda/Brian?

Uh, I feel already filthy just asking for this... but I just watched 207 again and was wondering: Aren't there ANY fics with Brian and Leda out there?
(I'm sure you remember their little talk and her generous offer, lol)
I checked every suggested fics in the Brian/Other tag, but there was nothing with Leda ._.

So, help anyone? ^^; and I don't care who tops *koffkoff*

Oh, there are definitely great german qaf fics on that community. You just have to explore everything by Devlish, shutterfly and xbabs. animexx? No, but if it is bad, I'm interested. Hope you like my little fic. I've made two attempts to write something longer, also on fanfiktion.de but I'm kinda stuck at the moment.

german animexx users mostly have a bad style and even worse grammar and make a lot of typos, it's horrible ^^°

Well, duh, look at that character description of Brian: "Brian Kinney ist ein notgeiler Mann,der nur an sich und sein bestes Stück denkt.
Nachdem er Justin kennen gelernt hatte,veränderte er sich unbewusst. Erst durch diesen lernte er,was es wirklich heißt zu Leben."

Not worth the effort to translate the whole thing but "notgeil" means something like "he is so desperate to get some that he goes after everything that moves". "It" at least has to have a dick, for a start *lol* - and Brian so wouldn't fuck seriously ugly or fat men either. And that: "Through Justin he learn what it really means to live." - just aaaaaaaaaaah. *head>desk*

We're getting way off topic here - but I will at least answer this in English so that everybody understands our little discussion that does not really belong to the subject.

I totally disagree. German is my native language, and I will never (or hardly ever) be able to write a fic in the same quality in English. I could write and translate it - but it won't be the same. But of course I'm able to write fiction in the same quality that some others in English/ American/ worldwide fandom and there are some other German writers who are even better. In English, it seems to be better because there is much more to choose from, and QAF is generally better known.

It doesn't have to do anything with quality - just with quantity. And maybe also with the fact that the fandom majority does read and speak English so that fics in other language won't get the same attention which means that some good authors won't bother to publish them in a forum where nobody appreciates them. I do read fiction I like - and as long as I understand the language I won't mind if it is English, French or even Portuguese.

Just had to say that.

regarding the deleted comment - I don't think ALL german fics are bad. there are in fact a couple of german authors and fanfic writers who are really fucking great and I wouldn't want to read those stories in english.
but on animexx are like... 40 fics. and they all suck, because they're mostly written from 13 year olds with no experience and too much freetime musing about gay sex.

but as you said - in english there's way more to chose from. and I also prefer writing my stuff in german, because it's easier and faster for me. also I have a certain style in german, which is hardly transferable to english, because that'd result in a grammar mess, lol
but I translate my fics anyway and get myself good betas, because I'd like to improve my english ^^

Yeah, I might translate some of them too one day with a little help from a beta. Maybe the Leda story would be a nice one to start with because there's so little Leda fic and I'd like to change that. Actually, I still have some more Leda fic ideas in my ideas folder but I'm not quite sure if I get to write this in my lifetime ;o)

Basically, the idea is that Leda showed up on different occasions throughout the seasons but that those scenes were deleted. As I invented a fictional non-girlfriend (as opposed to Brian's non-relationship with Justin) for her that lives in Pittsburgh in the fic I mentioned here, she keeps coming back to her as well and she also attends the Liberty Ride and Brian's and Justin's non-wedding. If someone wants to "steal" that idea, feel free to. I think it's still pretty open to every kind of interpretation.

well, that sounds cool and would fit great into the canon timeline ^^
also I could ttly picture her as some kind of female brian with an unconventional undefined girlfriend, lol

I think there's even a community here on LJ for qaf plot bunnies, need to dig it out ^^
