Ghosts and the Supernatural

It's almost October, boys and girls, and that means Halloween. What are your favorite QaF stories with supernatural elements? And no, I don't "Supernatural" the series--just your ordinary ghosts, goblins, and other things that go bump in the night.

Ghosts:
I already love Never Have, Never Will, a story in which Brian's loft is haunted by Michael's ghost.
I also loved a story in which Justin rents the loft only to meet ghost-Brian. Brian is in a coma, not dead, but I can't remember the title. (Update: It's Just Like Heaven.)
And, I know there's one in which Justin died when he was bashed and now haunts Brian. Again, I can't remember the title. (Update: It's Better Now.)
Any other ghost recs?

Irish Folklore:
I know I've read a few QaF fics inspired by Brian's Irish heritage in the direction of Irish folklore. Brian Kinney and the..., for example, is a clever "Brian encounters a leprechaun" tale.
What else can you recommend?

Others:
I see there is a tag here for vampires, and one for zombies, so you don't have to rec anything found under those tags. But if you have anything else to rec, I'll gladly take it!

There is this one (or two maybe...) story where Justin dies in New York and he return to the loft as a spirit. It's really good.

I don't remember by whom it was but I think there's two parts to it; one of it begins really slow and it kinda of with Justin's "ashes" somehow appearing at Brian's door. And the other one is where Brina goes on with his life and everyone wonders why he's not all distraught. But when he comes home Justin is there talking to him and everything, but no one else can see him.

OH and there this other one where Justin is dead and he comes back to Brian and apparently Gus is sick or something and he draws what's happening and alerts Brian. So then Brian calls Mel and Gus is fine.....

:( I remember these stories but I don't remember where they're from D: !!!!! SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully someone will remember some of them :( ....

I know you made it clear, not the series Supernatural... but there are a handful of fics that combine both shows and a haunting/creature, etc.
Some better than others.... but still, some what on theme, given the ghost/scary aspect.

Most are based on the premise that some supernatural entity is bothering Brian or Justin and the pretty boys from Supernatural come to take care of it.

Fun request! I love Halloween, so will begin with a couple plain ol' Halloween fics: bigboobedcanuck's Tricks, Treats & Tops (http://bigboobedcanuck.livejournal.com/182593.html) and wren_kt7oz's A Pirate's Tale (http://wren-kt7oz.livejournal.com/26563.html) and her other Halloween fics (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=wren_kt7oz&keyword=Fic:+Halloween&filter=all).

This (http://qafhappy.livejournal.com/172056.html) is a list of holiday fics by holiday, so a good list to keep handy. There are a number of Halloween fics here, but I don't know if the links are still good or not. But there's always the Wayback Machine! ;)

Randall wrote some holiday stuff. Lemme look. Forever (http://www.randalls-fiction.com/fiction/forever.php) Also, he wrote a 33-chapter permanently abandoned WIP that is good from what I remember, but should be read with that caveat firmly in mind. Very disappointing it wasn't finished. Brian is taken to the underworld to become some something, I forget... Good and evil ensue. The Quiet Men (http://www.randalls-fiction.com/quietmen.php).

There's one that I read where Justin had died years ago and he comes to talk to Brian every now and then at Britin. He's talking to Brian during a Christmas party in this fic; Gus is grown & married with kids and Brian talks about the grandkids and later he gives transfers ownership of Kinnetik to Gus. It's kinda angsty because of circumstances, but I can get through it and my angst-bar isn't set very high. ;) Problem with this one is I don't remember the title or the author. Maybe someone else will.

There's another one that is a Buffy x-over where she & Justin meet in a coffeeshop in NYC and some weird ghosty/vampire-y things happen. Don't remember the title or author of this one, either, but I'll keep thinking.

And the last one I don't remember, lol, is one where Vic's a ghost and he hangs out in the loft, gives Brian advice (maybe. I think) about Justin.

I've got a Halloween fic that doesn't have any ghost or goblins or any other supernatural things, but it's a horror story that takes place in a haunted house. It's called 96 (aka Psycho Fic) (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=laylafic&keyword=Psycho+Fic&filter=all) by Layla V (laylafic). The gang goes to an innocent haunted house for halloween, but things aren't always as they seem as they get trapped in the haunted house by a psycho guy. It's an amazing fic that keeps you on your toes! :)

I don't know if you'll like it as much without BJ, but the movie stars Reese Witherspoon (technically, she's the Brian, lol, 'cause she's the one in the coma) and Mark Ruffalo and is really wonderful :)

I believe some people were saying that they had to read the story with the lights on because they were getting scared. I read it with the lights off and yes it's totally creepy. Hope you like it and happy reading!! :)

I'm normally not one for death fics, but this was just wonderfully written and an amazing Brian/Justin love story.

Very late and not too useful, but maybe someone will see this sometime and recognize the fic. I did check the Carl and Haunted Loft/Britin tags, but no luck. I'm pretty sure it was a one-shot, it was slightly comical, and now that I think about it, I guess it'd be AU because I think Carl investigates the mystery and they don't know him already. The tiny bit I remember is that they (Justin) hear noises in the house that seem to come from the basement. At some point, they find out that Britin had once been owned by some wealthy person who had a party dungeon in the basement. Brian may have known this history when he bought the house. If not, they researched and found out about it which made them love the house even more.

I used to think I kept pretty good bookmarks but that was a delusion!
