A PAID account!

Last night I wrote:

There are now 440 tags. And only about 3-4 months' worth of entries have been tagged. And a free account is limited to 1000 tags. ahem.

That "ahem" was truly not a veiled (or overt) hint for someone to buy the comm an account. ;) It was intended as a "holy shit! 440 tags in three months' worth of tagging and we only get 1000" kind of an ahem.

But an anonymous member took my "ahem" and turned it into a year of paid time! More tags and a lot of flexibility in layouts, which will in no way rely on my pitiful skills. So, at some point in the not-too-distant future, we will have a beautifully colored, fandom-specific, comm-specific layout to unveil.

I think this format is just temporary while they finalize and organize things.

I'm not a fan of purple either so I just click on "view in my style" and voila, purple all gone :D

I had NO idea the view in own style wasn't available for free accounts. I changed it. Better? I like it better. In fact, I've used this scheme on my own LJ before.

I did it just for you. I don't like it, though. The Flexible Squares layout, which I like a lot, has truly unappealing color schemes, IMO.

I like tan and grayish and white more :D Old Chinese proverb says: the more neutral colors you use, the less eyes you offend.

Isn't it, though? Netlagd said she missed the purple so I switched the colors. I don't much like it, either, but it won't be here for long and besides, I read the comm in my own style. lol

It's not as much the fact that it's *purple* as the fact it's *neon* purple. Or almost. If you want assistance with layouts, I'd be glad to help. I made my own and the one on promptmesomeqaf and I'm familiar with good designs by other makers, so if you decide on something readable and functional it's not a problem ;)
