withdrawn brian

Im not sure that this is just one fic and that I didn't mix two up.
Brian is a writer and lives reather withdrawn. He has build up an apartement where people who sleep on the streets can sleep for one night and have some food and then can come never again. Justin is for some reason there for one night.
Then there is something with Molly where she thinks Brian is her friend and meets him regularly.
Later Brian lives in Britin and has Justin there who lives in a apartement and paints I think....uhm...
The only contact with the family that Brian has is Vic who lives with his boyfriend in a house not too far away. And I think Vic has cut ties with Deb, too.
I remember not to like that story very much but now I want to reread it. I thought it was on mags-nificent but I couldn't find it or I overlooked it.
Oh and Brian has a full beard^^
