Missing Fic

Hi everybody

Some time ago, I read a multi -chaptered fic entitled "The Education of Alan x(can't remember the full name I'm afraid) : Alan is a writer investigating on gay life because some producers want to make a series out of a book, or something likes that. Brain takes him under his wing, and they en up paired. It(s post 513, I guess.

I remember that one, too. One of the very rare fics where Brian und Justin don't end up monogamous. The sequels became too angsty for my personal taste though, but I just loved "The Education of Allan Carson".

They are never monogamous (well, not in canon, and not in a lot of fics, either). Do you mean they don't end up together as a couple?

alot of her stories have them either with women, or in 3-person relationships.

I don't remember it exactly but I think they don't really end up as a couple but still love each other and feel deeply committed. It's a polyamorous relationship or several of them, including heterosexual encounters as well.

In most of the longer fics I read so far they tend to become monogamous after a while - and that's fine as long as it entertains me. How, my personal vision of Brian and Justin would be a committed couple that stills tricks from time to time.

The stories are all out of character, they don't have b/j tricking like they do in canon, because in her stories they have feelings for other people so they aren't really tricks if they care for and love them.

In her stories they develop feelings and intimacy with other people so whether they end up in 3 or more person relationships they still arent really just b/j like they are in canon. In canon b/j only have feelings for each other and no matter how much they trick they don't have feelings or intimacy with the tricks and don't do repeats etc. A lot of people don't mind reading about them tricking because there are no feelings involved but when they are being intimate and in love with other people that is not tricking. There are also all the het parts in a lot of the stories.

The stories need warnings on them because a lot of people don't like reading that stuff so if you rec it to people you just needd to make sure you give them the warnings so they can choose for themselves if they want to read it.
