im looking for another fic....and all i remember about it was that connor james was attempting to rape justin.  i dont remember if it was brett keller or brian(or someone else) who helped him.   hopefully someone will know what fic im talking about.

It's funny - the controversy is one of the reasons I started posting on LJ so people could debate the "mine" issue.

oh, there was a fic that inner_justin had been writing, and this huge debate regarding OOC and canon - I think that it has been taken down. But needless to say, the critique was not whether or not the fic was good or bad, it was a debate over if Brian or Justin were in character.

Dunno about the other, but when Netlagd posted the chapter of CFS with the non-con, there was a bit of talk about rape warnings, although it didn't happen. But there was a bit of violence involved, and technically it would be considered non-con or attempted rape. She moved the discussion to her LJ, cause it was taking over the reply section at BJFic.

Oh, right. I do remember her moving a discussion to her LJ, but didn't remember it was for this.

Pretty much the only thing I need or want to be warned about is major character death or extreme/graphic violence, which aside from that one brian!rape fic by, oh, who was it? bloodyrose82? - well, anyway, that fic is the only one that I can think of that was violent enough and realistic enough that I would want a warning about. (So much of the evol!Ethan violence is so cartoony I can't take it seriously, you know?).

Sure have seen a lot of posts and comments about warnings lately, too.

I'm making some icons of Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) from that delicious new pic of him. He's growing up pretty damn fine, considering he went through a very awkward phase between the third and last movies. Third one he looked great, fourth and fifth were, "OMG, what a poxy little wanker you turned out to be!" I guess beating puberty and being over 21 is helpful. lol

I don't think the attempted assault (which is what I believed termed it) was the controversy.

The debate was my choosing to use term "mine" which Brian expressed regarding Justin.

Brian's "ownership" of Justin sparked the debate.
