Having become annoyed at bjfic and midnight whispers for different reasons, I'm looking to branch out. Anyone worth reading at slashcity.com? QAF-US only, please.

ETA: well, not exactly what I was asking for, but some interesting comments on alternative archives and places to look for stories.

I have asked them for a year to put more info regarding updates. If you go to the Authors Page they do list what has been updated that week. It helps a little. Their explanation was that since they are not an archive it's impossible for them to do a "recent updates" page or something like it. I usually just peruse the list of authors and look for something recently updated.

I'd be happy if they'd just put a year on the update info, so I could differentiate from May 2009 and previous years

They do put the most recent update date, including the year, on the main author's page. It's better than nothing, I guess.
