I once read a really good QaF/Without a Trace crossover. Justin, living in NYC post-513, has disappeared, and the FBI team of Without a Trace is trying to find him. I loved the way it read like an episode of Without a Trace, and that we get to see our QaF favorites throught their eyes.

Unfortunately, it was unfinished when I read it, and still may be. Does anyone have a link? And do you know if it's going to be permanently incomplete or is the author still working on it?

Answers: It hasn't been finished yet, but [livejournal.com profile] altsunthinkable promises that she is working on it. If you are interested, start here at the prologue. Thank you to all who responded.

i loved that fic...and since WAT is one of my very favorite tv shows, i was amazed and delighted at how in character the writer was with her characterizations. i emailed her privately after a while to just see if she was ok...i never received an answer. as far as i know, the fic was never finished.

Jeannie,

I'm sorry I never answered your email. I didn't mean to ignore it. I must have missed it. I have been extremely busy with college the last few months but I am on a two week break right now. I have set a goal for myself of finishing rough drafts of all chapters of the two works in progress I have going (the Without a Trace fic and a Justin has caner story) by the end of my break. I'm really going to do my best to reach that goal as I really do want to finish the story. It's just time that has been lacking lately. I'm happy to know people are still interested, even when it's been so long!

You can find the prologue here (http://altsunthinkable.livejournal.com/6196.html). It's by [livejournal.com profile] altsunthinkable, and the rest of the chapters can be found by going through her entries.

Hello there. I'm thrilled to know that people are still interested in my Without a Trace crossover. I am actually on a two week break from college right now and I have it planned (literally written in my planner each day) that I want to have rough drafts of all remaining chapters done before I go back to school. I want to complete the fic before I resume posting it so I can be sure there will be no more delays. I'm happy to know that there will still be people who want to read the end of it when I get it posted. I never intended to abandon it. Life just had other ideas.

Just a little more encouragement if you need it. I, too, have read the WAT crossover and really enjoyed it. If you need beta-ing I'd be happy to help. cruisinfool58@gmail.com It's a great fic.

We're still out here! When you finish we'll read it! I'm looking forward to it as well. I agree with the original poster that your voices were spot on which makes it a really memorable story.
