Parental rights!

I've gone through the parental right fics but what I am looking for is a nice long fic that tries to stay in cannon in regards to parental rights. I have read the dead lesbians universe and enjoyed it!

Can anyone think of anything?

Meredeth has one called A Child's Needs (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/MerF/Child.htm) in which Brian got custody of Gus after Lindsay and Mel died. The Petersons accuse him of being an unfit parent in a bid to get custody. Justin is the social worker who investigates the case. It's actually remarkably IC for Meredeth, and tries hard to get the legal stuff right.
