Looking for a fic.

I may as well take advantage of this! So can anyone help me find a fic I've been looking for? There's this line from it I can't get out of my mind. It's something like "You were there when he decided the gun was mightier than the pen, and what's inside him was stronger than the gun." Except it's much better than the fic. It was this nifty progression/analogy thing.

It's on LJ somewhere, it's late or post season 4, and that line is Brian musing on Justin. I think it might be second person POV. That's all I remember! I know it's not much to go on, but does anyone know what I'm talking about? It's been driving me up the wall.

ETA: Wow, I actually found it myself! :D Amazing. It's Tacit by windtossed! It's a sweet future-fic of Gus's tenth birthday. And the actual line is: Justin will smile and promise to be at Gus' first game of the season, because he got over his fear of baseball when he realized that a gun was more powerful than a bat and his own strength was more powerful than a gun.

Yeah, so I wasn't that close. :)

So first I thought it was something by sweetestdrain but couldn't find it. Then I thought maybe burnitbackwards and same problem there. So either I just didn't look properly or neither one of them wrote it, lol. In other words, I got nothing, but it's bothering me now too so I'll keep looking :)

I FOUND IT!! Tacit (http://www.livejournal.com/users/windtossed/3282.html) by windtossed! I had though it might be windtossed, but I gave up on her when I read this fic (http://www.livejournal.com/users/windtossed/3282.html) of hers, which has the line:

You think that this time, he's here to stay, and it feels like it, because he stays when your loft is as empty as the day you moved in, he stays while he's off saving the world from heterosexuals, he stays when you discover the cancer. And he still says he loves you, even though you'll never say it back.

And I thought I was just confusing it, but there it was!

I really like her stuff. This one (http://www.livejournal.com/users/windtossed/5688.html) (no title) in particular is good. And by "is good" I means "rips my heart out and stomps on it a thousand times." :((
