What I am looking for is a fic where Justin leaves Brian. Justin paints a picture (or a series) and takes it to the loft when Brian isn't home. The painting is of one of them leaving (don't remember if it is Brian or Justin walking out) but the last panel is left blank. Brian spends day's looking at it and realizes the last panel is finished, with the hardwood floors being painted on it very lightly. He realizes that it means Justin isn't coming back.
Then end is with Brian and Justin and justin said he left it blank to paint their new beginning?

Thank you. I always thought it was ridiculous that Brian seemed so unchanged after a life-threatening experience like the cancer. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
