Post 308 angst?
Jan. 13th, 2009 10:27 pmI am trying to remember the name/author of a fic that is post-308, and would love some help getting past my brain block please...
It is post-reunion and Justin is trying to be complete unemotional, unattached and passive with Brian. He ends up having a break-down because he can't take acting like everything is ok the way it is. He is trying to stick to his "i know what to expect from you'" statement, but finds it very hard. Following him melting down, there is some very bittersweet h/c. I think it was from alternating perspectives, but I could be wrong.
I have been going through my bookmarks looking for this and I know it isn't Gradiva's Shadows fic (which is absolutely beautiful btw) and it also isn't Mesa's No Regrets (again, an amazing fic with sort-of similar feeling to it). I remember I read Gradiva's and Mesa's and then found this one and loved it for the same angsty post-reunion awkwardness to it.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Date: 2009-01-14 04:58 am (UTC)Have absolutely read exactly what you're talking about, but I haven't read any QAF fic in about six months so my fic memory isn't what it once was. This is my best guess, though.
