Have you checked the memories under 'angst'? Most fics are rated, so I would think that choosing the NC-17 or R ones should be a good start ;D

Describe what you mean by serious. I love angst too, but I can narrow my recs if I know better what you're looking for.

Out of my bookmarks, I would highly recommend "Gone" by Besame_bj, "The Space Between" by arlad, "Painting Lessons" by Jans, pretty much everything by R.C.McLachlan and most of all, my absolutely favorite bj fic of all time: "The Things I cannot Change" by Suzvoy. But everything on that list, i've read more than 2 or 3 times. Enjoy.
