Nanowrimo

Are there nanowrimo's other than [livejournal.com profile] laylafic's Psychofic or [livejournal.com profile] severina2001's Whenever You're Ready & Silver and Gold Shines?

Also, I'd like to know if anyone is doing a QAF story for this year's nanowrimo which begins in Nov. if I understand correctly.

I'd really like to watch a nanowrimo unfold so if you're doing one (about anything)I'd be interested in reading.

ETA: 3 more completed nanowrimos suggested. Anyone know of any 2008 participants?

Collide (http://community.livejournal.com/collidearchive/) by [livejournal.com profile] yoursweater, from 2005.

I think it's a teen AU, but won't bet my ass on it yet ;)

Hi! Please update your post to note that you found your fics. Thanks!

I will second that question..!

(Even through I´ve only read laylafic's Psychofic so far! But that story is one of the best I´ve read. And it´s really unbelievable how something this good could be written in such a short time... Which makes me even more curious as to what other gems will come of this contest...)

Anyway, I would also like to read a Nanowrimo story while it´s unfolds, to watch it progress and take form over time.
Especially because my long term goal is to write one myself (through not this year).

So, is there no one here who is planning on participating?!

meep, i am (on IJ though). it might wind up being wretched, but i'm going to attempt it this year.

I'm going to attempt nanowrimo.

i've never written anything longer then about 3500 words. And my average fics are like 900, so lord knows how it is going to go.

But I have a very rough outline for about 20 chaps of an AU. It might wind up being totally cracky.

Also, I won't be posting on LJ, I will be posting on my insane journal (http://not-yet-defined.insanejournal.com/). I haven't decided if i will post as I go, or after the fact yet.

i'm scared shitless to do this but i'm going to try.

As I´ve already said, I would be voting for posting the chapters as you go to prevent loosing your motivation, especially as you don´t have any experience yet in writing so much in such a short time.
I´m certainly curious as to what you will come up with...
Well, good luck anyway!

"The Ends Justify the Means" by shadownyc from last year's.

That's probably not the best way to link to it. Sorry!
