The fic I'm looking for used to be on MW but I can't remember it's name. Gus is staying with Brian and Justin and an unknown enemy calls social services. A social worker confronts them who's really homophobic Carl sorts everything out but then another one comes out and has a look around the loft. Brian and Justin had just set up a little bedroom with a racing car bed that Gus LOVES.  There may have also been issues with Justin's dad to.

I don't know if this was ever on MW or not, but I've read this fic, and off the top of my head, I'd say it's galedreamer's Breaking Away (http://galedreamer.livejournal.com/9047.html). The link is to chapter 1.

Won't swear this is the right fic, but there's a custody fight and social worker visits. It's a good fic, if you haven't read it already, even if it's not the one you're looking for.
