I was reading "It's a Mystery" by moonshadow woman and it reminded me of something else. Wasn't there a cancer arc fic that was along the same lines? Justin is not living at the loft, but still sneaks in and leaves things like soup and such for Brian while he does radiation? I think I remember Brian assuming it was Michael and then finding out later it is Justin. Does anyone else remember this? I started looking at the cancer arc fics in the memories, but so far I haven't found it. (And I keep getting side-tracked reading things!)
