Justin asks Brian if he hated his dad when he died. Brian's response was "No, but I wanted to."

I can't believe I remember nothing else of this fic, but I'm guessing Craig was possibly sick?

Ok I totally have no idea if I'm imagining things or not but wasn't something like this in Vamphile's Keepers series? I might be mixing things up, coz I've read too many fics but I think it had this particular scene in one of the earlier parts of the series.
