Hi!
I just finished reading 'Edge of the world' by CrazyFairy (http://www.bjfic.net/main/viewuser.php?uid=30) and the 'Abernathy Trilogy' and I've become addicted to historic B/J. Could someone point me towards some well written historic fics? I'd prefer longer ones but short ones are fine too.
Thanks in advance!

All that Remains (http://community.livejournal.com/bjfic/670966.html) by [livejournal.com profile] lastglances

It's a WIP but active and it really is one of the most well written pieces I have read. Read it. You wont regret it.

I read these a long time ago. They weren't as good as The Abernathy Trilogy, but I believe they weren't too bad. Excuse me if I'm wrong!

Forbidden by Circe (http://www.geocities.com/circes_delusions/forbidden.html)

A Crusade for the Heart by Julia (http://midnight-whispers.com/efic/viewstory.php?sid=365)

After the War by Miss Miko (http://heelsoverhead.net/stories/afterthewar.html)

I think I have some more links somewhere. I'll be back if I do.

Hi! Could you possible give me a link to the Abernathy Trilogy, cause I seem to have lost it. You mentioned it, and it made me want to read it, so I went through my bookmarks, and I couldn't find it. *is embarrassed*

Here's a couple of historical fics that in my opinion are pretty good.

Edge of the World (http://www.angelfire.com/folk/defensivewalls/edgeoftheworld.html)
The year is 55BC. Brian is a Roman officer and Justin is a tattooed Celt.

Decadence (http://www.angelfire.com/folk/defensivewalls/decadence.html)
In 1920's Pittsburgh, Brian is the most powerful man in the city and Justin is a starving artist just trying to survive from one day to the next.

Beatitudes (http://members.aol.com/gaedhals/beatitudespage.html)
Justin Taylor meets a young poet, Brian Kinney, who changes his life. Pittsburgh, August to December 1957 (from the same writer(s) as Queer Theories)

I hope these help you out ^_^

Sorry, I didn't realize that you've already read Edge of the World....might want to read the posts a little bit better >_<;; Here's two other stories I'll give you in place of it!

The Duke of Tremont (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/KF/Duke.htm)
Justin is an Earl’s son who is exiled and almost murdered, Brian is the Duke that saves him.

Ace of Hearts (http://www.carrollsweb.com/morrow/Ace.html)
Brian and Justin in 1800’s Brian gambler who wins Justin in a card game.
