I found a story on my computer that might fit your request or at least it is the closest I can get to finding anything regarding Hobbs view of the bashing. I tried the link I had for the story and unfortunately the author has deleted and purged her journal. It is a short stand alone fic. As usual I uploaded to sendspace.
