1) does anyone know where i can read "the shells of the ocean" by morninggloryfic?

2) are there any bashing fics where justin dies but brian stays in character? every fic i have read, he ends up being completely out of character

update- #1 is locked, & i got some recs for #2 but still looking :-)

Here is the link for your first request. It's in her memories on her LJ page. It appears to be an unfinished WIP though. You have to friend her first to read it. I don't know if anyone else has the copies saved or not.

I deleted my comment with the link to the story on the bjfic community because I didn't check to see if the links actually worked. A brain fart on my part and something I usually do before I comment. They all revert back to the writers live journal which of course is locked and useless.

Unfortunately there have been no entries on the journal since 2009 and there is only 1 friend listed so being friended doesn't look promising. It would be great if the writer would unlock the fic. It seems odd it would be locked after offering it on bjfic...

Sorry, I thought I had a solution to finding the fic. Hopefully some kind person copied it and will make it available.

For #2 try this one if you haven't already read it. Justin is a ghost interacting with Brian. Not sure if you would consider that in character but it is a good story. You have to decide if B is really seeing the ghost of Justin or is he imagining it all because of his grief. Interesting concept and I can never decide.

This is another possibility for #2. Brian out of character is such a subjective thing. Everyone's opinion differs. Some stuff is obviously out of character but other stories are iffy depending on the reader.

Allie has deleted her live journal. A while back I combined her short fics into a file and uploaded to my sendspace account. This is a direct link to the file. There are 16 fics in the doc file and Without You is the last fic. Scroll down to the bottom of the word doc and then go back up about 5 pages to the title. That is the fastest way to find this fic.

Good, I'm glad you liked it. I'm always a little hesitant to rec something when the requestor asks for the story to be in character. I've been reading fics for so long that I'm often not certain if my in character is based on the fics I read or the show I watched when it first aired on Showtime. lol Hard to believe that it started 15 years ago.
