Brian/Em get drunk at loft (FOUND) and Emotional Brian fics

Hello, you are a resourceful community and I am having trouble finding a fic so here it goes.


1. This is post-5x13. Emmett is broken up with his new beau and he starts hanging out with Brian since the rest of their friends are paired off and busy. One night they get drunk and Brian starts pining over Justin. He calls him and is distraught over Justin not being there and tells Justin he loves him. Emmett realizes how affected Brian is over Justin leaving and Justin ends up deciding to come home. It's a one shot. 2. Any well-written fics where Brian gets overly emotional in front of people. It can be deliriously happy or crying/visibly upset or whatever. It can be angst or crack!fic (like Blissed by Valerie Lewis) or anything in between.

This is quite a shot in the dark, because I don't really know anything about this fic, BUT... I've found a fic that's coming up under "friendship: brian-emmett" and "reunion fic: post-513," so that much fits. Problem is, the only link I can find is f-locked, and I'm not in the author's friends, so I can't see it. However, you are/can! :) So maybe?? At the least, you can look and tell me it's not it lol.

So I was curious, but I'm so lazy to add and I went on google searching the author and I found this on the bjfic . The summary kinda seems like what you were searching for, but it isn't a oneshot, but there is one oneshot sequel [that I now realize it is perfect timing mentioned by wouldbedorothy]

Oh good grief, thanks for finding that! I'm cracking up because I actually went to bjfic to see if I could find a non-f-locked link, but for some reason all I noticed were the chapters of the main fic. So I guess I am deeply unimpressed with my visual observation skills but high-fiving myself for my powers of deduction! LOL!

For #2, I would recommend *The Love Song of Brian A. Kinney*, by ipoiledi.

I don't know if it really fits your description "Brian gets overly emotional", but Brian does get pretty upset in it. Plus, it's angsty and the dialogs are very in character :)

That was actually one of the earlier fics I read (I joined the fandom a month after it was posted on Ao3) but I remember loving so thank you for reccing it! Off to re-read!

Before I tag this, I'm going to toss in Psycho Fic (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=laylafic&keyword=Psycho+Fic&filter=all) for mega-angsty, broken, emotional Brian, witnessed by Mel. Emotional to the point of heart failure! Poor baby :(
