I know it's a long shot but are they any stories out there where Jack was a good guy?  What about it all be Joan?   The abuse, the hate, all of it.   Is there any stories where Brian's dad was a good man?   And it has to be Jack not a long lost father, but JACK

I have to shout-out Carly's Handcuffed (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/CF/Handcuffed.htm), because I so love that fic. Don't know if it counts for what you're looking for, since it's a high school AU, but Jack and Joan are super cool in it.
