B/J Partners?

I've been thinking about the beginning of episode 4.1 when Justin says to Brian, "I thought we were partners?" when discussing Brian's dire financial situation after the Stockwell thing, and Brian answers, "We are" without hesitation. I'm wondering if there are any gapfillers where somewhere between "The Greatest Reunification Since Germany" in episode 3.9 and episode 4.1, Brian and Justin decide to label their relationship as a partnership.

I did a quick scan through the "b/j partner discussion" tag, looking for any posts tagged with "gapfiller," also, and I didn't find much, but this is short and sweet perfect :)
