I never even thought about Titanic being a possible QaF fic before seeing this post! Titanic is by far my favorite movie of all time. So, even though you mentioned the My Heart Will Go On fic wasn't finished I absolutely had to go check it out and fell in love with it and am super disappointed it seems to be abandoned and will be unfinished. I really hope that someone can provide a copy of The Shells of the Ocean and would be willing to share with me, I would absolutely love to read it. Are there any other QaF Titanic styled fics?

Personally I've never even started reading a fic that I knew wouldn't be finished. I had to make an exception to my favorite movie, though, I don't regret reading it, but then again im a die hard titanic fan. Am I disappointed and wanting more? Yes. But it would've driven me crazy if I hadn't. It doesn't delve too much into Brian and Justin becoming super close so that was a little plus to not get extremely attached. So, yeah, in my personal opinion it's really worth the read. It's really good and would've definitely went in my favorite fics if it was finished. It doesn't end in a nail biting cliffhanger, it just leaves you wanting more. I hope that helps a little! (:

I had copied the story some time ago and finally decided to give it a try. I was hoping it was lousy, but no such luck. The story is exceptional. I wrote to author, praying that she is still around, but I haven't heard anything. Apparently, stalking only works for Justin, LOL. I was hoping she had he completed version hidden somewhere.

Anyway, I happy to hear I’m not the only Titanic fan out here.

Sorry, I did c/p the summary. I just added quotation marks and also put it in italics (probably overkill). I'm having problems posting to this site, so I'm not sure if the italics will show.

I love historial fics and I am obsessed with Titantic ones, especially, when written as well as Armandlegg's. I've been looking for this other one all day. I'm not even sure it was completed. I ran across the chapter heads with beautiful banners for each chapter at bjfic comm. There just has to be a way of finding that fic. I've not been able to sleep thnking about it (I know, pathetic). :P

Nope, Shells of the Ocean wasn't completed either.

It's still in her memories, but all chapters come up "Access denied." Not sure if they are f-locked or locked to everyone but the author.

No, the reason I was asking is because I make it a habit to never read fic that has typos/misspellings in the summary. Usually doesn't bode well for the fic. :(

Not much of one for historical fic, outside of regular books, and I'm that one person that only liked Titanic AFTER it hit the iceberg. lol

OMG! Maybe it was my overzealousness for another Titanic fic (since Armandllegg's wasn't completed) or my persisitant sinus headache, but I didn't even notice. I'm going to go all sour grapes and say that perhaps you're right about the story. It still would have been nice to put that theory to the test.

And, yeah, I could have written that summary, LOL.

Well...

I have all the stuff sitting here to finish off My Heart Will Go On. I lost 75% of the finished work when my writing laptop died, and well life went and got complicated on me.

I will finish it off. Before the end of this year. I have a break from school coming up here in a few weeks and I will start to get things together so that I can focus on it when school is out of session.
