Hi Everyone,
I understand you read you read 1) Queer Theories, 2) Queer Realities, and 3) Queer Identities in that order. But after that is there any particular order you read them in? I have never read these and want to keep any continuity the author intended. Thanks for your help!
Many thanks to kmboatright and gaedhal!

Date: 2013-05-14 07:44 pm (UTC)None of her other stories are in the same "stream" as these three stories.
If you read Medium Security, you'll find it is set in the 1970s, and very different from any of Gaedhal's other stories, though it is still Brian and Justin, and still FANTASTIC and WONDERFUL. (The sequel to Medium Security is The Outsiders, and basically starts right where MS finishes. The Outsiders, though, is not completed. But it is worth reading).
If you read Bell Book and Candle, it takes place in... uhm... the 1950s, in New York, and is a completely different universe from any of her other stories.
If you read "The end of the Evil Stream" and the stories which follow it (Creekside Canyon and Coup de Foudre (Gaedhal is currently writing Coup de Foudre), you'll find that they are in the same universe as where episode 513 ended.
It doesn't really matter what order you read the stories set in various universes (I think; Gaedhal may give you other information). You will encounter some of the same original characters in a number of the stories, but they are slightly different as the circumstances of the stories are different. What happens to a character in one stream doesn't affect or predict what happens in another.
...Did I answer your question?

For instance, "The Angel Stream" can be read in
the order as it appears, starting with "Christmas Eve."
it covers an entire year and ends with the next
Christmas, "Midnight Clear."
If you have any questions, you can always come over to my
LJ and ask, or else message me.
