Confusing Randall and Brian with other earlier FanFic person - help find the other person

With all the discussion about Randall and Brian it reminded me of a Meta I had read from an earlier fanfic writer who for some reason I thought was Randall, but wasn't/isn't. This writer is pre-2005 and so is his website.

The website is black and blue - with a black background I think. There was a lengthy meta about how Gale and Randy weren't faking it when it came to the sex scenes and the person went on to show a series of photographs and compare them to stills from QAF. This is not a fanfic, this is meta.

The man - who I'm pretty sure was actually a man - also wrote fanfic. And for some reason I'm thinking is the author of a fic about Justin and a Rotweiller - which is a hugely controversial. Let's say that if Justin was practicing Animal Husbandry...

Now I've got this stuck in my brain and can't for the life of me remember where I found it.

I've been out of the QAF fandom for a long while now, but I just read a LJ entry from someone talking about this whole Brian/Randall thing. I found it very interesting because the one thing I remember about them was irishcaelan was friends with them/her. As in, made out like they were friends IRL. And anyone who followed the whole bjfic.net fiasco with that crazy stealing people's money and leading people to believe she was actually going to run that site, well I'm sure people remember. I mean, how many years has it been again? *shakes head*

While it's easy to become friends with others online based on mutual likes, there's never a way to be 100% sure you aren't being duped.

I won't even touch the bjfic fiasco since I've spouted my feelings on her since the beginning when Tanya handed the site over to her.
That being said, yes, I believe they did know one another in RL and it doesn't surprise me much. I know someone who was going to meet both IRL years ago and after having arrived to the place they were to meet, they received a call saying both couldn't make it. That's my understanding from what I recall of the conversation anyway, it was probably 10 years ago now so details are fuzzy.
