Justin (?) attacked outside NY apartment

Looking for another one. Justin and (I'm pretty sure) Brian are living in NY. There's some kind of event and Justin is outside and gets attacked while Brian was delayed coming out of the house. It's really all I can remember except I think the attacker was one of the "bad guy" meaning Hobbs, Craig or Ethan...

There's To Those Who Dwell In Realms Of Day (http://qaf-challenges.livejournal.com/38711.html#cutid1) by etharei. It was written for a QAF Challenge several years ago, and it's amazing. Craig attacks Justin outside his and Brian's NYC apartment, and they have Gus with them when it happens, IIRC.
