This is probably not the appropriate place for this but my computer, for whatever reason, is not allowing me to access Thyme and Sabina's feedback page. I've been re-reading the Sunshine file over the last couple weeks and had forgotten about the character of "Gerry" who was with Todd. Now, he's not and a comment was made in a recent chapter that Todd had thought his thing with Gerry was for the long run. My question is (and perhaps I've completely missed it)...what happened to Gerry? I haven't read anything about a breakup or anything. He's just gone.

In the beginning of the current series, I believe it mentions that Gerry went back to Ohio (?) to take care of his parents or something. I think.

Not vague...it answered my question. I was just so confused and couldn't remember what happened to him.

Are you close to the storm? Be safe!! I lived through Hugo back in the late 80's

I live in Palm Beach County, FL. We got pounded with 15 inches of rain. My whole town (Wellington) is flooded. We've been trapped in the house since Sunday -- my street is flooded. My son finally got his car out today, but said our entire development has flooding. My husband and I are going to take one car to work tomorrow - just in case something happens, neither of us will be alone.

This was all caused by feeder bands from Isaac, not the storm itself.

Just be careful. I remember a LOT of downed trees and power lines from Hugo so there is danger even after a storm like that passes.

I have flood memories too but from way back in the early 70's. I was VERY young and just remember being trapped in our house which was a bit elevated off the road. The problem was, we were in a rural area and it was the only road in or out and it was under feet of water. The adults handled everything and I just was...

I've been here since 2003, so I've been through Hurricanes Frances, Jean, and Wilma.

This was different because it wasn't a wind event. It was a rain event. And LOTS of it. We never lost power and only intermittently lost our satellite tv.

Could have been MUCH worse. But this flooding still stinks!

Gerry moved to Chicago, the irony being that Todd moved back to the Pitts from Chicago!
