Brian's partner dies

I was sure I had read the summary to this story a few days ago but I checked the Brian/Other tag and couldn't find it. Basically, what I remember is that Brian was with someone for a long time and then this someone dies and then somehow he meets Justin and he doesn't want to love him but ends up doing it? It's vague but it was a request I read here so it's what I remember. Thank you so much!

Nope. When I first read the post I clicked on the link and at the beginning of the first chapter Brian is trying to call his partner but he's not picking up his phone. Then I had to stop and forgot to bookmark the story. I think it was on MW.
