I've been going through FF.net for cancer!Brian fics but haven't found that many. Could you point me some links for those kind of stories?

Look in the tags here at GIH. There are four different tags. Cancer:Brian, Cancer:Justin, Cancer:Other. And Brian's Cancer Returns.

We recommend on the comm profile page that you check the tags prior to posting. The tags link is located in the sidebar on the right, under "important comm info" right at the top. Look for the tags debv3 mentioned.

There is also a tag under "recs: ree's cancer!fic list o'joy" that will provide you with cancer fic posts that contain a link to a rec list made up entirely of cancer fics.

FF.net has gotten a reputation as the place 12-year-olds go to post, I think. But there is crap fic everywhere and good fic everywhere. I post at FF, too; I'm aprilhope over there.

Still, for reading, in any fandom, I'd recommend people not wanting to deal with LJ try AO3 (http://archiveofourown.org/) instead :)

When you've been around fandom(s) as long as I have, you know which archives to run away from. There is one fic at FF.Net that I will read, becausr it's not posted anywhere else, and it's an old HP fic. As soon as I download it from there, I'm never going back.

Yep, I'm a huge fic snob. Lol
