Brian and Justin split for good.... Brian finds love with someone else

Following on from the request by sandraj60 … I was wondering if there are any stories out there where Justin and Brian break up for good, and BRIAN finds love and happiness with someone else? (since after 5 years with Justin he is a better man and certainly capable of it in my opinion)

I’ve read stories where he’s living with / engaged to someone else… but basically just using this person to fill the hole left by Justin and he doesn’t love them (and as soon as Justin reappears he ditches them quick-smart). 

Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

Brian in love with someone else

These are my favorite type of stories since I am a Brianite and always thought Justin was a necessary catalyst for Brian's emotional growth but NOT a soul mate or perfect partner. This is a very unpopular position so the fanfiction where Brian finds "true love" with someone other than Justin is limited. The ones I know of are listed below. All are well written and I think plausible. Some stray a little ooc but most keep Brian recognizable and none are really derogatory towards Justin (IMO they're pretty realistic to what we saw on the screen and not a romantized fantasy, but to each his own - that's why there's fanfiction.)

Arwensong on Moonshadow Tribe's website has two Brian and other character scenarios - "The Better Friends and Lovers" universe where Brian's partner is a Musician, Dancer, Actor, Model, Danny O'Keefe and the "Begin Again" stories, which has Brian with a Carnegie Mellon Biology Professer. Brian's Fiction has two stories with a New Orleans Lawyer, Boyd Coulter, becoming a partner for Brian. Both are fairly long. "Swamp Fever" takes place first and is an intriguing mystery. "Burn" is the second and has Brian opening a nightclub in New Orleans. http://www.brians-fiction.com/

Randall's Rambles has at least one Brian/OC story, which is mainly written as a series of emails. Brian is actually with Justin for most of the story - "Adrian to Brian, Brian to Adrian". http://www.randalls-fiction.com/stories.php

Gaedhal, who has written quite long, involved and fascinating series with multiple AU scenarios, which she calls alternate streams has one Brian/OC stream. This is the Evil Stream, Creekside Canyon I and Creekside Canyon II (sadly unfinished). Brian becomes involved with a movie director, Ron Rosenblum, whom he interacted with as a teenager (great backstory told in the Queer Theories, Queer Realities and Queer Identies stream).

I'm sure there are other Brian/OC out there but these are the ones I know of and recommend.

As an aside the story "Timeless" by cynical21 on Midnight Whispers is a Brian/Justin love of my life story, but Brian does have a brief affair with an FBI agent, Chris McClaren, who is great match (IMO a better match) for Brian. The story is a WIP so it leaves me room for my personal fanatasy ending. There is a real emotional connection between the characters, Chris is not just a placeholder.

I've suggested this fic in response to other requests but here it is again. It's called "the education of Allan Carson". http://www.ridiculouslyromantic.com/fanfiction/viewstory.php?sid=18. Brian and Justin are on different continents, Brian moves to Toronto, meets a man they start a relationship....have kids with Lindsey and Cynthia. Justin falls in love with someone and stays in Europe. Brian nd Justin then enter a py amorous relationship with Allan. I make it sound odd but it's well written and engaging.
