3 days in hospital post-bashing

I have a question, even though I don't know if it's okay to ask here. Please ask me to delete it if it's too out of topic.
In each fic about the post-bashing I've read that Brian stays in the hospital for 3 days, waiting to know if Justin will make it. Now, I wonder if this information came from the show, because I never heard it, but maybe it's because I'm Italian and I watched it in my language and it was dubbed differently so they never said it. If they actually say it, can you tell me when exactly?

When Ben is hospitalized, Michael calls for Brian and has a bit of a breakdown. Brian then reminds him of how they sat outside Justin's room for three days until they knew he would okay and that he couldn't have made it without Michael's help.
