Apology

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with B/J fic, but I just wanted to apologize to everyone on behalf of the ignorance of my home state (NC) that we were unable to defeat the amendment on the primary ballot which states that marriage should only be between one man & one woman.

Please know that I was one of the 34% that voted against the damn thing!!!

Asheville... er, the county it's in, I forget... was one of the places (8 out of l00 counties) that voted against. I live in Wilmington, and New Hanover let me down and voted for. Which I don't get, because everywhere I go around here is covered in "vote against" signs. Although I did drive past a church this morning that had "vote for amendment one" on its big churchy sign where they usually put Bible quotes and such.

Was my first time flipping off a church.
