Hello !! so..ladies and gents, oh please who am I kidding theres no ladies or gents here. :P *adores everyone*

SO courtesy of turnyourankle (sorry I dont know how to link) I saw a pic of Randy with dark hair, and it got me in the mood for some darkhair!justin fics....know any? Like he dyes his hair dark and brian's all like OH NOES!....actually any fic where justin(or brian,as if brian would EVER dye his hair) changes hair color would be awesome.

HI DAHLING! (btw, you're such a polite cutie, and i just HAD to reply even though my comments are a bit off-topic.)

SOH, I can't think of any specific fic about Justin dying his hair, but I know like small little clips in stories where Justin changes his hair. HOWEVER, sadly ENOUGH, I just can't remember/find the stories. SO IT'S ONE OF THOSE FIND A FIC IN A COMMENT POST! (is that legal? i hope so.)

1.) There once was this story by Shirley? (I **think**.) It was an AU of how Justin and Brian met. They first meet because Brian needs to pick up Justin at the airport as a favor for a friend. When Brian first meets Justin, he teases him like in a OHGOD-YOU'RE-SO-NAIVE and I-DON'T-HAVE-A-CRUSH-ON-YOU type of way. (i.e. no attraction at first.) Justin kept saying remarks about something like "in my gay studies class..." Then Brian snorks something sarcastic like, "ohhhh....did you learn that in your TWIN STUDIES class? hmmmm..? hmmm..? WHATAWASTEOFTIME."

^Okay, so I'm rambling. The point is that in the fic, the second time they meet, Brian sees Justin on a plane as a BRUNETTE. However, Justin is with Ethan at the time, and when Brian questions why Justin dyed his hair, Justin says something along the lines of, "I wanted to see if brunettes had just as much fun." BTW, Ethan is hitting on Brian the WHOOOLLE time and Justin is being all oblivous!andcute!.

Warning: the story is a bit of a bad!fic, but it's like survivable. I don't think it's on bjfic.net anymore because I can't find Shirley anywhere on the site. I tried midnight-whispers (puke) and I still can't find Shirley.

2.) In Myrna's "I'd Swim the Seas," there's a segment about Justin's hair growing back brown after chemo. To find them, do a word search (EDIT -> Find (on this page)) in the document for BOMB or BROWN. (weird, i know, but it works.) LINK: http://queerasfolk.wired-hub.net/iynm_03.html

3.) Okay, so there's lotsa fics *I THINK* about Justin shaving his head for Pink Posse and Brian freaking out in a non-freak-out way. There's this fic/gap-filler by someone (julad? juteux? i HAVE NO IDEA.) where Brian is disappointed that Justin shaved off all of his GORGEOUS SILKY GOLDEN LOCKS GASP. Then, Justin proves his point that a shaved head is cool b/c he gives Brian a blow-job and nuzzles his shaved head to Brian's, well...you know.

Okay, so that's all I can think of. Hope that helps a little, and if not, I hope that didn't waste your time too much!

^other than that, I think most really good qaf classic fics (like stuff by ragingpixie, bigboobedcanuck, etc.) contain some good mumble!brian moments.

well I always ask nicely and say thank you and please, I think if everyone started using those words more often then maybe, just MAYBE the world would be a little nicer place to live in.

The only dark-haired Justin I remember is in the Sunshine Series. You've already got some good recs, but I just thought I'd throw this one in there.

CrazyFairy wrote a very long, rather bad fanfic called the Sunshine Series, starting with Subdued Sunshine (http://www.bjfic.net/main/viewstory.php?sid=648&warning=NC-17). In spite of being bad, it is strangely addictive. In Chapter 2 of Part 2 (Glimmering Sunshine) (http://www.bjfic.net/main/viewstory.php?sid=668&textsize=0&chapter=2) Justin's MarySue BFF named Sally dyes his hair black so he can go as Sid Vicious for Halloween.
