Mel spanks Gus - Brian gets very upset?

Hi all,

Im trying to remember this story where Mel (or maybe Linds?) spanks Gus. Brian finds out, though I'm not quite sure if he is there when it happens or if he finds out about it later somehow.... I think maybe Gus misbehaves when he is with Brian and gets scared that he is going to get spanked? Either way Brian gets really upset. The story wasn't anti Mel/Linds from what I remember (she didn't hit Gus or anything), I think Mel is quite thrown by Brian's reaction...   

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

ETA: A few suggestions in the comments, but not the story I was thinking about... I think the story I am trying to remember might be the same one where Gus breaks a glass vase at the loft despite having been told repeatedly not to touch it... Or, I might just be mixing stories up now...

Eeep. I remember this one! I read it the other day. It's the same one where Carl remembers Brian as a kid. Searching...searching...got it!!

FYI this is incomplete, since at least November 2011. So if you are looking for a story that has any real resolution I wouldn't suggest this one. It just kind of drops off.

oh... if you haven' read it, i recommend the whole thing.... start with charade... the author had a really interesting rendition of getting the fiddler out of the picture =D

Caution -- this story is unfinished. :-( It's one of those really great stories that taught me *never* to get invested in WIP.

Actually, I don't think any of Tammy's stories were ever completed.

It is sad. I'd rather have a writer turn out one completed, great story, than to start and abandon a dozen would-be-great-if-finished stories.

I've never understood it, and the one time I politely tried to ask one of the more prolific writers about it, I got my head bitten off. ;-)

I know that story! But that was from before my new computer - so I don't have a link anymore but I can offer up more fic info.

Gus breaks something at the loft, and Brian gets upset - which scares Gus into begging not to be spanked.

Brian gets upset and talks with the girls.

They all think that it wasn't a big deal, but Brian's insisting on Gus never getting spanked again.

Justin tells a story about getting spanked around Christmas time (Christmas Day?) when he was a kid and all he remembers from that Christmas is getting spanked - he can't remember the presents etc.

Which proves Brian's point that it is something that sticks with a kid.
