FOUND! Hi....i've read this fic waaayyyy back.. the only thing i remember is that Brian made a speech at JOan's funeral... He confessed about being gay (of course claire was outraged).. but then he mentioned about falling in love with someone whose opinion is the only thing that matters to him.... oh if the law would allow it, he will be marrying that person even if the so-called church disagrees so much..I;m not sure if Justin is there though.. he may or may not be present at the funeral... sigh... hope i still remember which fic this is... =D pls. help. thanks!

The closest to that summary that I can remember is 'Back to the Beginning' by Faramir-Boromir.

During the eulogy, Brian makes a speech that would surely have Joanie spinning in her grave; though it's not necessarily about his relationship with Justin. They do leave hand-in-hand.

I know I've read others along those lines, but my brain's not what it used to be.
