Found: Brian/Justin travel to Ireland; Justin needing brain surgery in Europe

The first story I'm looking for is Brian and Justin visiting Ireland and traveling through the country. I don't remember much more, but I think at one point they followed a bus to some castle by night and rain and nearly get lost.

The second story is a traveling story as well: Brian and Justin are in Europe. Justin has problems with his hand again and there is the possibility of brain surgery. If I remember correctly in the end he doesn't need surgery. And all that might have happened in Germany.

I know this is very vague. I hope you're still able to help.

They're not overseas when Justin has surgery. Justin sees the doctor in San Francisco, has surgery in New York (chapter 9 & 10), then they go to England to see Daphne and her new husband. Justin's still healing.

Yes, but then when they're on a trip to Germany Brian makes an appointment with a specialist for Justin who's working on some kind of experimental treatment that might be able to improve Justin's hand. I think that's what Theophanusophia is remembering.
