AU: Justin refuses to bottom because he was raped

A story that is currently posted on bjfic reminded me of this other story I once read.

Justin and Brian met in a different way there but I don't remember if it was out of town or not. When they take things to the bedroom Brian tries to top him and Justin refuses. He doesn't give an explanation but Brian sees or feels that there must be a story to it so he allows it and bottoms. Later it comes out that Justin was raped once and Brian finds out about it somehow. I think I remember that Justin didn't tell him, Brian just figured it out on his own. I don't know if I'm mixing two differet stories up but I think there was a confrontation between Justin & Brian and the rapist.

I read the story a long time ago. At least 4 or 5 years.

I know it's not much. Does it ring any bell?

spin and fall was the story that reminded me of the one i'm still searching. it's driving me mad that i can't find it. it was very powerful and actually ic. it was old though. i'm afraid it's been taken down. it's sad that nobody remembers it. so many excellent stories are not read anymore.

i want to say they met canon-like, possibly in babylon, then went to brian's place. but i can't be 100% certain that i'm not mixing it up with a different story.
i remember that brian did confront the rapist towards the end of the story, but a voice in my head tells me he didn't know that it was the guy when he confronted him. i think he was harassing justin and brian just happened to come to the rescue without knowhing who it was he was rescuing justin from.

awwwww,,,that sounds really good. I have no idea where to look...I've never read anything like that. Well, it was 'cool' in Spin and Fall when he kind of made one of the rapists end up in a train wreck or something like that.

Was the gang in the story? Was the rapist Hobbs or someone else Justin knew, was he stil younger than Brian in the story? Does this help you? Questioning? hehehehe. I am going bananas over here now.

I remember a story where B/J met as per canon and Justin had not been so lucky at Sap's party. He didn't tell Brian about it, but Brian figured it out. I think it was Turning Points by Britin (http://www.midnightwhispers.ca/viewstory.php?sid=846&warning=5)

It doesn't fit with the rest of your description though, so...sorry if this isn't the one.

Something still niggles at the back of my mind though about Brian confronting a rapist, but I'm just as 'flummoxed' as you. Maybe someone else will come to our aide :)
