117 (and thereafter) Gapfillers?

I think one of the most underrated scenes between B & J is the one in Deb's backyard at the end of 117. You know the one:

Brian lights a joint as Justin comes out to join him.
B: So it all worked out, happily ever after.
J: Thanks to the Senator.
B: Yeah, don't kid yourself. That woman in there is using you, for money and for votes. She'll move on to her next cause, her next fundraiser, then where will you be?
J: Like she said, it's a small victory.
B: Well, don't think that you've won, that it's over, 'cause the minute you do that, you're dead.
Brian shotguns Justin, takes a hit himself, then puts his arm around Justin and pulls him close.
J: Not as long as I’ve got you to protect me. Nuzzles against B's neck and shoulder

That last line and Brian's reaction to it are pretty intense -- I can only imagine what was going through Brian's head at that point...

Does anyone know of any fics that address that scene and what comes after it (before 118)?

ETA: One rec already in comments -- thanks! -- and by the time you see this there may be more. Nonetheless, that shouldn't keep any inspired writers out there from adding to the collection! ;)
