Gus sings 'I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus' at school...

This scene popped into my head but I don't remember what fic it's from. (It may not be Gus, but I really think it is.)

Justin picks Gus up at school. As they are walking to the car Gus' teacher tells Justin that there have been some complaints from other parents about Gus singing 'I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus' which evidently has confused some of the other kids. I think she asks him to tell Gus not to sing it anymore and Justin says something like it's not their problem and that the children should be learning tolerance and understanding, not bigotry.

I know it's not much to go on, but I can't get this scene out of my head and would really like to know what fic it is in. I checked the holiday tags and the Gus tags with no luck.

It's told in 2 parts, the 2nd part is called To Face Unafraid, I can't remember the name of the 1st part (someone else will) & it's where Mel & Linday die & B&J raise Gus together after he leaves NY & his teacher tells Justin about Gus's little song at school & Justin tells her to get over it.

I think I'm right,,I have about 5000 fics inside my widdle head lol

I know what you mean about the 5000 fics. I seem to have that going on as well, which is why I couldn't remember which fic the scene is in, but I'm sure that's the fic. Thanks for the help!

Thanks! I might have found it if I had remembered that! ;) I had honestly forgotten about B/J raising Gus because the girls had died. To be honest I wasn't sure if Justin was picking him up as a favor to the girls or if Gus was living with B/J. I have read so many lately with B/J raising Gus through a custody battle or the two of them having kids together that I wasn't sure which plot I needed to look for. (I really need to get back to working on my story index so I can find things easier.)
