Justin NY has mental breakdown-- publicist keeps it a secret

I am copying this request I made in June that wasn't ever answered. Hopefully (maybe??) someone knows now?

A while ago there was this episode of CSI that reminded me of an old WIP fic I read long ago.

The CSI episode was about a young college student (art student) who had Dissociative Identify Disorder, and her alter witnessed the murder of her roomate. In the end, it turns out that her professor/advisor killed the roomate because she was trying to convince her friend to seek treatment and to take her medication, and the professor felt that as an artist, she shouldn't be taking her medication because all great artists suffered from some sort of mental illness.

So in any case, this episode reminded me of an old WIP of Justin going to NY and having a mental breakdown there and no one knowing where he was or what happened, and that his publicist had him committed without telling Brian because she didn't want him to bring Justin back to Pittsburgh. It was an awesome start that never ended, and I have no idea who wrote it.

So I have two questions.

1. Does anyone know about this story in question, and was it ever completed?

2. Are there any other stories out there similar to the above WIP or the CSI episode? (i.e. Justin going to NY to fufill his dream as an artist and then his publicist/agent discovers that Justin has D.I.D. and keeps it a secret from everyone until Brian or someone else discovers it?)

okay, I lied, I have3 questions...

3. If there isn't a fic that's similar to the CSI episode, is anyone willing and interested to write one?

That actually sounds like a good one. Was it a Post Series or was it during his Go-Go days that this is set in? I'm not a big fan of 513 stories in fact I never read them but I would read this. I wish you get the answer this time and I'll give it a go at finding it too. Thanks.......SATURN

In fact I was writing a fic with Justin having mental disorder as a result of his passionate nature, but he had a friend that helped a lot and I never even started posting it because I thought that the subject matter is too gloomy. I never finished it because of the same reason either.

Then I'm guessing you never read Lemon Bar's "A Thousand Beautiful Things". That was Brian being ordered to a mental facility to deal with anger issues and he meets Justin there, who's mute do to abuse and other things.
