the cops question brian

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me with this one...I was remembering a scene in a story where someone with someone against Brian (Craig?) sent the cops to the loft to investigate whether it was an appropriate environment for Gus...

I think the cops start asking Justin if he lives there too and if he's 18. I think they show the cops the little room they had had put in for Gus with the little bed they had just bought him, (though that might be a different story...) Finally Carl shows up and says he knows Brian and Justin and that there is nothing illegal going on in the loft.

(I'm not sure if I'm confusing some of this with the one where Justin gets into cutting and Brian has to practically knock down the door to the bathroom to get to him and they have a loud fight, so the neighbors call the police...)

It's sadly not finished, and if I could get a hold of the author I'd ask if I could put it on adopt_a_wip along with two other of her/his stories; they are just that good and really should be finished.

Thank you, I think that's the one, though I'll have to reread it to be sure...I really like several of Bailey's stories; it is too bad they're apparently abandoned WIP's.

The second one is a fic called "Cutting" by greenbean. (It's a post-bashing story where Justin's emotional issues after moving in with Brian at the start of season 2 cause him to start cutting himself. Of course Brian figures it out and eventually gets him to see a therapist, that's about where the story stopped.)

I woould love to read it again, but it was on Bjfic.net, so I don't know at the moment where else to find it.
