It sounds badficcy, but it's not.

Justin goes deaf. It happens slowly while he's living in NYC, and he goes to the doctor, who says it's from the bashing. He calls Brian, and as his hearing is slipping, he tells Brian, "I can't hear you, Brian, I can't hear a thing you say," or something to that effect. And he starts learning to sign and everything and then he's visiting... Pittsburgh? I think? Or Brian's visiting him, and at the airport, Brian signs something to him very awkwardly, and Justin's all YOU SO CARE ABOUT ME YOU LOVE ME SO MUCH but on the inside, because Brian learned to sign for him.

Now. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
