Publicly known facts about Gale's and Randy's lives

Reading all those RPSes recently I've come to a point where I'd really like to know what was said in public about Randy's and Gale's lives' facts, especially during QAF filming years. Is there a resource where those facts are summoned. Somehow I've come across many facts in various places, but I'd like to read them maybe summarized in an organized timeline manner (if there's any of that work done already). To fill the gaps in the real life publicly known story line. Any recommendations?

As to the OP, I think someone was keeping a journal of shooting for the seasons. Check with Teary Eyed 2. Also, you can check their Wikis, they each have one, but it's really just general info.

What have you had enough of? I think asking why she's interested is
jsut a tease. We've all been there.
Check with Teary? Since when was she a record keeper? You can check
with her for heavy breathing when Gale is mentioned or seen. Otherwise
she's not the one.
I'm only kidding...So please don't get angry. Unfortunately there
seems to be more serious abroad altho I don't know what. Maybe that's
what you've had enough of?

Hon, that was a blanket comment, not geared towards you. Check the tags for Teary, they'll lead you to her LJ. Then check her tags/memories, I think she had some info about the actors during the show run, or links to people who did.

Ok, thanx, I get it now. I'll check out Teary's tags and mems.
I'm not planning to write any fic, mainly because English is my second language and I'm not so fluent to write on it. And as to write it in Russian, it just doesn't sound right for me, because I've watched QAF in English, without Russian translation, and I can't imagine any qaf fic story vocabulary in Russian.

court says that bigboobedcanuck did some scouting reports during the filming, but I doubt there's any personal info. That's probably who I was thinking of originally. still, stop by Teary's journal, there's some good stuff there, and some really funny stuff, too. But check out BBC's memories.

And hey, people translate fic into other languages all the time. I have a couple of Harry Potter fics that were translated into Italian years ago. I can't understand the comments, but it's fun trying. The person that did the translation sent some to me, they were very sweet.

I've read [info]bigboobedcanuck reports from season 5 shooting some time ago, they are good, but they are not about actor's real life facts, that I'm after now.

Where do I find BBC memories? I have troubles to find her(?) LJ.

Well about translating, I think it's absolutely ok, but I'm supposed to write either in Russian or in English. And my qaf experience is totally in English in my mind and feelings, I just can't feel it in Russian in order to write it in Russian. And I'm short of English to express exactly what I would like. Maybe some time later the situation would change... We'll see.

If you click on this --> bigboobedcanuck, it'll take you to her journal. Go to User Info/Profile and when you're on her profile page, click Memories. It'll show you any public memories she has there, and just look for any QAF stuff.

As far as your language experience, it's interesting. I guess it's like watching films with subtitles in a different language for me. But you said you watched it without subtitles, didn't you? Wow, how was that? Did you find the story easy to follow, or did certain phrases and things throw you off? I'm very curious!!

Is my English that bad (LOL), that I've failed to explain that I've read bigboobedcanuck, it's BBC I have trouble to find.

As for watching QAF, I did have Russian subtitles with a very good translation, but there are so many double(and more levels) meanings in English phrases all the time, I was lucky, that I've watched a lot of gay movies (in English mostly, because the translations were pretty lousy) and I was familiar with the vocabulary. And I've watched the qaf so many times, every time getting more and more of the things I didn't get the previous time. And the story is not easy to follow even if English is your primary language, don't you think? So many things become clear only when watching for the second time...

I would imagine it being easier after a couple of viewings. It took several times watching certain scenes to figure out what the subtext was.

I'd say the generic bios are the best thing, because the term 'fact' runs into some major gray areas.

For pure facts, birth, gigs, etc... they are covered in bios.

For anything more, like when Gale was dating Kim, very private people and nothing was ever said, so its just damn solid gossip.

For both Randy and Gale, I think that would be a problem, ya know?
